English media reports say there are a lot of voices going against the Norwegian boss at Old Trafford

Manchester United aren’t having a great time of late. Their loss to Manchester City over the weekend further worsened their situation, and questions are still hanging over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future in the job.

The Norwegian has weathered storms in the past – most recently by beating Tottenham when the Red Devils were being linked with Antonio Conte, only for that result to lead to Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking and the Italian’s subsequent appointment at Spurs.

Now the Daily Mail are reporting that things have changed in the dressing room at United, and there are a number of dissenting voices against the coach.

Players are unhappy with his work, and one of those is Bruno Fernandes, with the Portuguese midfielder not believing his tactical work is up to scratch. Cristiano Ronaldo is another, who is alarmed by the drop off in level at the club, seen since his return.

Forgotten Players and Favoritism

Van de Beek is an example of a player who appears to have been cast aside by Solskjaer, and a number of the players are unhappy with the treatment of the Dutchman, who they believe isn’t being treated correctly.

At the same time, there’s the belief that some players are clear favourites of the coach, namely Harry Maguire.

The Mail have said that United are considering parting ways with their coach, despite their previous plans to keep him in place until the end of the season. Recent losses to both Liverpool and Man City have changed that, though.
