Sao Paulo and Ceara will clash on Thursday night in the Brazilian Serie A
Sao Paulo have been inconsistent so far, as they have taken just 30 points from their last 25 Serie A outings so far this season winning just one of their previous eight league games.
However, they have drawn their last five matches after a 0-0 draw against Cuiaba. The draw followed a familiar low-scoring trend, as Sao Paulo’s previous five league games have produced under 2.5 goals.
Sao Paolo are unbeaten in their last six Serie A home matches with two wins and four draws.
A 1-1 draw in their last home game means that their last three Serie A games at home have finished all square. Those recent three straight draws have been low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in all three matches.

Ceara too have been an inconsistent in their Serie A campaign and are currently a point behind Sao Paulo in the Serie A table.
However, Ceara have played two fewer matches than the home Sao Paulo.A win could see the visitors move into the Copa Sudamericana qualification spots in Serie A.
The visitor’s recent form in the Brazilian top-flight has hindered their efforts to climb into the league’s top-12. In fact, Ceara head into this game on the back of just one win in their previous nine outings in the league.
A 3-1 defeat at Atletico Mineiro last time out ended a run of three straight clean sheets in the Brazilian top-flight.
Ceara’s recent away record in Serie A has also been very poor, as they have failed to win any of their previous 11 league games away.
Four of the last five meetings between these two have ended in Full Time Draw of 1-1.
Sportsgetto predicts a Full Time Draw which will end with Under 2.5 Goals.
